I'm not a big fan of using OIDs when there's a valid MIB file availble for a device.

Here is my snmp.conf for net-snmp with the mib files I use regularly::

The first entry points to the directory where we store our mib files for the netscreen product line.

The second entry is for our Cyclades ACS devices.

The rest of those in the list are for our HP switches. They have to be loaded in that order (at least I had problems when they weren't).
