Lusis Development - Nagios stuff

Well I haven't had time to get all fancy since moving to the new server. Work has been busy and I just didn't have time to sit down and flesh this all out.

List of work related projects:
- Design and implement infrastructure for new Intranet environment (DONE - I'll tell you how I did it later)
- Integrate COTS windows software into an all Linux/AIX environment (DONE)
- Migrate database from DS4300 SAN to DS6800 SAN (DONE)
- Migrate data warehouse from x335 to x445 and upgrade from pg 8.0 to 8.1 (back to the dwteam at this point)
- Decommission legacy datacenter
- More work on DR site ( including real-time replication of aforementioned warehouse WITHOUT dark fiber between data centers. Looks like I'll be using drbd yet again for another project.
- Upgrade DS4300 to turbo option, install 4 additional CECs of 300GB SATA disks for TSM disk pool
- Migrate to new TSM server with previously mentioned disk pool
- Customization to some internal support applications (Nagios/RT)

and a whole host of others!

One thing I have done is started putting up some of my Nagios plugins as well as some notes about monitoring in general. Some of the headaches we had with AIX and DB2 in terms of monitoring.
