So evidently the Google Video Player (that is required for purchased videos and only works under Windows XP or Mac OSX) does NOT work in VMware. Of course this isn't anywhere on the google website under the player requirements or anything. I just spent $13 bucks on a video and sure enough I got an error trying to start the player. The error basically is the same as this guy:

As soon as my video is done downloading, I'll let you know if my work around is good or not.
